Big action by Indian Army, 10 militants killed on India-Myanmar border:

' Regarding this operation in Chandel district of Manipur, the Indian Army said that the Assam Rifles unit under Spear Corps launched an operation on 14 May 2025. During the operation, suspected cadres opened fire on the soldiers.

The Eastern Command further said in its tweet, "In retaliation, the soldiers fired with restraint and strategy. 10 militants have been killed in this encounter." The army also informed during this time that a large amount of ammunition has been recovered from the militants. This operation has been described as calibrated i.e. planned. According to sources, a search operation was conducted by Assam Rifles after the possibility of more militants hiding in the area.
