Last minute preparation on launch day
In fact, the song was composed and completed on the music launch day, March 17th, just two days before the film's theatrical release. Speaking to Humans of Bombay, Jasmine herself revealed that Shashwat Sachdev, who has worked on both films, came together at the last minute to complete the song. The singer completed the song at 4 a.m. on the day of the music launch.

He further added, "We had written and recorded some parts three months ago, and they were finalized instantly... The entire album is ready and it's a great song that you think is good, it's beautiful. It perfectly captures the feeling of loneliness and betrayal. The entire team and I never imagined the success this song would have! Right now, Indians all over the world are talking about it."
Jasmine Sandlas has lent her voice to a total of five tracks in both Dhurandar films, including the title track Shararat from the original film, Main Aur Tu, Aari Aari and Jaaiye Sajna.
