News Topical, Digital Desk : Thieves locked the homeowner in a room and stole jewelry worth approximately 10 lakh rupees. Police have filed a case against unknown thieves. The incident occurred in Harinathpur Lodhwa village, Mahrua.
Manoj Kumar Singh's family was sleeping in their rooms on Friday night.

The thieves broke into the house by cutting the locks of the roof skylight and the staircase door. They locked Manoj's room from the outside with a latch and then thoroughly searched the entire house, including boxes, suitcases, cupboards, and briefcases. Family members, including his mother, were sleeping in other rooms.

The door of the room was closed

At around 3:30 a.m., when the owner woke up to urinate, the door to the room was locked from the outside. He called his mother to open the door. While going to the bathroom, he reached the main room door and found the door, the suitcase, and clothes scattered about.

Other rooms in the house were also open, and their belongings were scattered on the floor, beds, and other surfaces. They were stunned. According to the victim, the thieves stole jewelry worth approximately 10 lakh rupees. Station House Officer Mahendra Kumar stated that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway to identify the suspects.
