Amid the intense heat, a sudden western disturbance could cause significant fluctuations in the weather. The Meteorological Department has predicted thunderstorms, rain, lightning, and hailstorms in many areas. The IMD has issued yellow and orange alerts in various states.
The weather in Bihar has taken another U-turn. According to the Patna Meteorological Center, atmospheric instability is increasing. Thunderstorms, rain, and lightning are expected over the next 24 hours. Therefore, a yellow alert has been issued for the entire state of Bihar. Wind speeds could reach up to 60 km per hour.
Strong winds and rain expected
The weather will change on Monday in Uttar Pradesh's capital Lucknow, Noida, and Ghaziabad, along with other districts. After a clear morning, clouds will begin to gather as the day progresses. Light rain and winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are expected. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 35.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 20 degrees Celsius. The temperature has increased by 2-3 degrees since the effects of the previous western disturbance ended.
Alert in Rajasthan for the next 48 hours
The weather in Rajasthan is changing once again. Under the influence of an active and strong western disturbance, strong thunderstorms, rain, and hailstorms are expected in many parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has issued a special warning for the next 24 to 48 hours. Pre-monsoon activities may remain at their peak in the northern and western parts of the state on March 30th.
There is a possibility of hailstorm in the hilly areas
The weather in Uttarakhand has changed due to the activation of a strong western disturbance. An orange alert has been issued for the mountainous regions on Monday, threatening lightning, hailstorms, and thunderstorms with winds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. Temperatures are rising in the plains, including Dehradun, with the movement of clouds. Special caution has been advised in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh.
Yellow alert issued in Delhi
Delhi is expected to experience thunderstorms, lightning, surface winds up to 40 kmph, and light rain on Monday. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert. The sky will remain cloudy throughout the day.
