This song is "Oye Oye," which was composed 37 years ago. In Dhurandhar 2, this song is played in the background during the revelation of Jameel Jamali's (Rakesh Bedi) true identity.

Sapna Mukherjee is overjoyed to hear her iconic song in Dhurandhar 2. She is glad that her voice hasn't been replaced in the iconic song. Speaking to PTI, the singer said, "Aditya Dhar deserves full credit for bringing it back with respect and giving it a meaningful place in the film. Today, my voice hasn't been replaced, but rather respected, and that means a lot to an artiste."
Reaction to voice not being replaced
Sapna Mukherjee further said, "When I heard that my voice has been retained along with Amit Kumar ji's, I felt very honoured. This kind of respect for artists and their work is rarely seen. Today you can recreate a song, but you cannot change its 'soul'."
The song was presented in a different way
On the inclusion of her song Oye Oye in Dhurandhar 2, Sapna Mukherjee said, " It felt familiar and new at the same time. The voice is the same, the spirit is the same, but the atmosphere changes everything. Earlier people used to dance to it, today they feel it in a different way. Oye Oye was never a trend, it was a feeling and feelings never fade. They just find new ways to express themselves. "
The song "Oye Oye" gave Sapna Mukherjee a new lease of life and made her a star overnight.
