New Delhi: The rain is not stopping in many states of the country. There are flood-like conditions in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Rain has also affected public life in Gujarat. Rain continues in hilly states as well. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert in three states. Heavy rain is expected here. There is a red alert in Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rain is also expected in the national capital Delhi.

Orange alert in these states

The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Odisha, Telangana and Madhya Maharashtra on September 8. An orange alert has been issued in these states. Andhra Pradesh has a red alert. A yellow alert has been issued in all the states of the Northeast except Arunachal Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in a total of 14 states.

Heavy rain predicted in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra

Rain is expected in Madhya Pradesh till September 14. Heavy rain will continue in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra till September 12. Rain is expected in Goa and Chhattisgarh till September 12. The Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy rain in Yanam and Andhra Pradesh on September 8.

Orange alert in these states on September 10

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of very heavy rains in Assam, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on September 10. Orange alert has been issued in these states.

There will be torrential rain in UP on September 11

Heavy rains are expected in eastern Uttar Pradesh on September 11. Yellow alert has been issued for September 11 in coastal Karnataka, West Bengal, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa and Arunachal Pradesh.
