US Action on Pakistan: America has taken strict action regarding Pakistan's nuclear and missile program. The US Department of Industry and Security (BIS) has put more than 13 Pakistani companies on its watch list. These companies are suspected to be involved in dangerous nuclear activities.

Apart from this, the US has also imposed sanctions on 7 more Pakistani companies because they were helping Pakistan in its ballistic missile program. The US says that all these companies can pose a threat to America's security and foreign policy.

America took action against these Pakistani companies

The US has taken this tough step after recent changes in the Export Administration Rules (EAR). This action has affected about 70 companies from China, Pakistan, Iran, South Africa and UAE. Pakistani companies added to the list for nuclear-related activities include Britlite Engineering, Intentech International, Intralink Incorporated, Proc Master, Rehman Engineering and Services and others.

'Work is being done against America's national security and foreign policy'

Washington has said that these Pakistani companies are working against America's national security and foreign policy. Now it will be difficult for these companies to access American technology. If these companies want to buy any goods from America or want to use America's technology, then they will need additional licenses.

The US has also imposed sanctions on 7 companies associated with Pakistan's ballistic missile program. The major companies among these are Business Concern, Global Traders, Linkers Automation. These companies are located in cities like Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Wah Cantonment and were playing their role in the missile program.

Pakistan expressed displeasure

Pakistan has strongly criticized the US sanctions imposed on many of its companies. Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said that this move is unfair and politically motivated. Foreign Ministry spokesman Shafqat Ali Khan said that this decision of America is against the rules of global trade and technology. He said that this will cause difficulty in accessing technologies that are necessary for the social and economic development of the country. It is worth noting that relations between Pakistan and America have remained tense since the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan in 2021.
