Delhi Jal Board's negligence led to the death of a young man - Devendra Yadav

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav said that the biker fell straight into a ditch in the dark of night. There were no barricades, no warning signs. This death was entirely due to the negligence of the Delhi Jal Board. If there had been barricades, a young man would not have lost his life.

Taking aim at Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, he said that under a government that boasts of a "developed Delhi," the roads are filled with potholes. Last year, 89 deaths occurred due to waterlogged potholes and drains. Road accidents claimed over 1,600 lives. Eleven people also died during the 2025 monsoon season.

CM should dismiss the responsible officers- Congress

The Congress leader further stated that no lessons have been learned from the death of Yuvraj Mehta in Noida . Projects worth crores are announced, but the situation on the ground is worsening. Devendra Yadav demanded that the Chief Minister immediately dismiss the officers responsible, conduct a high-level investigation, and seek the resignation of Minister Ashish Sood.
