The film was released on January 30th and generated a lot of buzz since the trailer was released. It received mixed reviews from audiences in theaters. This action drama film is the third installment of the franchise, the first of which was released in 2014.

Mardaani weakened in the second week

Directed by Abhiraj Minawala, the film stars Rani Mukerji as police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy. This time, the film will explore the issue of child trafficking in India. It faced direct competition on the big screen against Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan's film Border 2. The film performed well in its first week but faltered in its second week.

What was the collection on the eighth day?

Mardaani 3 opened at the box office on its first Friday with earnings of ₹4 crore. Its earnings increased significantly on Sunday, and on the third day, it reached ₹7.25 crore. On the fourth day, Monday, it earned ₹2.25 crore, followed by ₹2.6 crore on Tuesday, ₹2.1 crore on Wednesday, and ₹1.85 crore on Thursday. With this, the film's first-week total earned ₹26.30 crore.

The film's eighth-day collection has also been revealed. According to early trends from SacNilk, the film earned ₹1.75 crore on Friday, bringing its total collection to ₹28.05 crore.
