According to Variety, director Amit Sharma has finalized Shahid and Rashmika for his next romantic comedy. The two actors recently wrapped filming for Cocktail 2, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna.

Amit Sharma will be the director of the film.

The film will be directed by Amit Sharma, known for films like "Maidaan" and "Badhaai Ho." It will be produced by Sunir Khetarpal under the Vermilion World banner in association with Jio Studios. The film's title has not yet been finalized. However, it is estimated that Shahid and Rashmika will begin shooting for their next project in August-September 2026, after completing their current projects.

When will 'O Romeo' release?

Shahid Kapoor is currently excited about his upcoming action-thriller, O Romeo, which is set to release on February 13th. The film stars Tripti Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwari, Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Vikrant Massey. Vishal Bhardwaj is directing the film.

The actor will soon begin shooting for Farzi on Amazon Prime Video. Rashmika Mandanna has several projects in the pipeline, including "Ranbali" with Vijay Deverakonda and Atlee's action film "#AA22xA6." She also has "Maisa" in the pipeline.
