"Dhurandhar 2" opened with 241 crore rupees at the worldwide box office. The movie was a smash hit in countries ranging from North America to Australia and New Zealand, quickly joining the 1800 crore club. Ranveer Singh's film has eclipsed titles like "Pushpa 2" and "Baahubali 2," but it's still a long way from breaking "Dangal's" worldwide record.
The film's total worldwide box office collection reached ₹1818.41 crore in 37 days. Now, according to reports from Bollywood Hungama, the film has earned ₹1833.2 crore in 41 days. This means that within four days, the film has only managed to earn a total of ₹15 crore at the global box office.
How far is 'Dhurandhar 2' from breaking the record of 'Dangal'?
"Dhurandhar 2" is still approximately 167 crore rupees away from breaking Dangal's worldwide box office record. Surpassing this mark now seems a bit difficult, as "Bhoot Bangla" currently remains a hurdle for Ranveer Singh's film, but now Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Dutt's "Raja Shivaji" is also releasing on May 1st, and its advance bookings are strong.
"Dhurandhar 2" has grossed a total of ₹1,132.99 crore (US$1.7 million) in 41 days at the Indian box office, while Ranveer Singh's film has earned ₹475 crore (US$1.7 million) in overseas markets. The film will soon be released on OTT platforms.
