According to a report by SacNilc, Raja Shivaji has already earned over ₹1 crore in advance bookings, nearly three times more than Riteish Deshmukh's previous hit Marathi film, Veda. Regarding advance bookings for Raja Shivaji, over ₹24,000 tickets, including block seats, have been sold so far. 

Looking at these figures, it's clear that Raja Shivaji could truly mark a new chapter of success for Marathi cinema. Considering that Maharashtra Day is celebrated on May 1st, Raja Shivaji is expected to post a bumper opening day collection. 

This Marathi film tops in advance collection

The Marathi film that holds the record for the highest advance booking revenue is the romantic film Sairat, which grossed over ₹3 crore before its release. This film is also considered an all-time blockbuster in the Marathi film industry.
