As soon as the shooting of Love and War is over, Vicky Kaushal will begin preparations for his next film, Mahaavatar. The actor will even make the sacrifice of turning down new projects for the mythological film, directed by Amar Kaushik. According to Pinkvilla, Vicky has locked himself down for 18 months for Mahaavatar and is avoiding signing new films in the meantime.
Vicky's transformation will take 6 months
As soon as the shooting of Love and War is over, Vicky Kaushal will first give himself six months to complete his transformation. After adapting to the look, he will begin shooting for Mahaavatar . It is being said that shooting for the film may begin in January next year. The director has also created a module for Vicky in which the actor will not only transform himself physically but also understand the psychological and emotional aspects of the character.
When will Vicky's Mahavatar be released?
Vicky Kaushal is so invested in Mahaavatar that he isn't taking on any other projects during filming. Shooting for the film will begin in January 2027 and it is expected to be released in theaters in December 2027. The film's story will revolve around Lord Maharishi Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Vicky Kaushal will play this character.
