New Delhi. Hair is the identity of beauty from women to men, but to fulfill the desire of thick, long, soft hair, apart from hair care and diet, many other things have to be taken care of. In the name of hair care, just shampooing two to three times a week is not enough, but champi i.e. oiling also plays a very important role in it. 

Coconut oil is most commonly used for oiling, but you can also use almond and mustard oil. Mustard oil is beneficial for hair in many ways. Applying this oil strengthens the hair, increases its volume and also removes the problem of dandruff.

Nutrition present in mustard oil

Mustard oil contains vitamins, calcium, omega-3 and 6 fatty acids along with antioxidants, which deep condition the hair. This oil contains antifungal and antibacterial properties, which prevent scalp infections. Not only this, regular massage of this oil also affects hair growth. Along with scalp, dryness of hair also goes away. 

How to use mustard oil for hair

1. Mustard oil + curry leaves

  • Take curry leaves according to the length of hair. Wash it.
  • Heat mustard oil in an iron pan or any other vessel. 
  • Add curry leaves in this hot oil and turn off the gas.
  • Leave these leaves in the oil like this for 2 to 3 days.
  • Then apply it on the hair.
  • Applying this oil increases hair strength .
  • The antibacterial elements present in curry leaves remove scalp infections and prevent hair fall.

2. Mustard oil + fenugreek seeds

  • Heat 1/2 cup mustard oil.
  • Add 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds into it.
  • Cook it on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Then filter it and massage your hair with it before washing it. Then shampoo your hair.
  • This keeps the scalp and hair moisturized. 

 

3. Amla Powder + Mustard Oil

  • Keep 1 cup of mustard oil on to heat.
  • Then let it cool down. After this, add about 1 teaspoon of amla powder to it.
  • Now apply this oil on the hair roots and keep it for 30 to 45 minutes and then wash it.
  • If you do not get amla powder, you can use amla juice instead.

4. Mustard oil + nigella seeds

  • Take 1 teaspoon nigella seeds, put it in mustard oil and cook it.
  • Then leave the oil to cool.
  • Apply it along the scalp and the length of the hair.
