News Topical, Digital Desk : Less than a week is left for the release of Hrithik Roshan's film 'War 2'. Before this, the film has received a big blow from the censor board. The censor board has given the film a UA certificate but along with this, it has advised to remove many scenes and mute the dialogues at many places. CBFC has made a total of 6 cuts in 'War 2', reducing the length of the film by about 7 minutes.

- According to Bollywood Hungama, the censor board has suggested important changes in the audio and visuals of 'War 2'.
- The makers have been asked to mute some references in the film.
- An 'obscene' dialogue was replaced in the film.
- It has also been suggested to remove two seconds of 'obscene' expression in a scene from 'War 2'.
- If reports are to be believed, Kiara Advani's bikini scenes in the song 'Aavaan Jawaan' from 'War 2' have also been reduced.
- Actually, CBFC has suggested reducing the intimate scenes in the film by 50% which is about 9 seconds.
What is the runtime of 'War 2'?
- After the changes suggested by the censor board, 'War 2' was passed with a U/A 16+ certificate on August 6.
- After all the changes, the runtime of 'War 2' is now 171.44 minutes, i.e. 2 hours, 51 minutes and 44 seconds.
- Initially the film was 2 hours, 59 minutes and 49 seconds long.
Release date of 'War 2'
Spy thriller film 'War 2' is directed by Ayan Mukherjee. South star Junior NTR will be seen in the film along with Hrithik Roshan. Junior NTR is going to make his Bollywood debut by playing the villain avatar in 'War 2'. The film will hit the theaters on 14 August 2025.
'War 2' will clash with 'Coolie'
at the box office. 'War 2' will clash with Rajinikanth's film 'Coolie'. Actors like Aamir Khan and Shruti Haasan will also be seen in this film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
