News Topical, Digital Desk : In a grand ceremony held on Saturday at Chandan Chowki, adjacent to the India-Nepal border, Yogi Adityanath sent a major political and social message by handing over land ownership rights to thousands of Tharu families. The Chief Minister distributed land rights certificates to 4,345 Tharu families. 2,350 families from Purvanchal were also given their rights. On this occasion, he said that this is not just paper, but "proof of identity and self-reliance."
In his address, the Chief Minister said that these families, who were neglected for years, have now got their rights, which will bring a big change in their lives. He said that now these families will become self-reliant and will be able to live a life with dignity.
Taking aim at the previous governments, he said that earlier these people were settled, but no concrete steps were taken towards giving them rights, this work has been completed by the present government.
Encouraged by the huge turnout at the event, the Chief Minister also took a tough stand on the issue of law and order and development. Attacking the opposition without naming them, he said, “Earlier, one district one mafia, one district one goon was created. Now, our government is promoting employment and development through 'One District, One Product'.
He bluntly said that now no mafia or goon will be allowed to flourish in the state, whoever breaks the law will be destroyed.
In his address, the Chief Minister listed the achievements of the state government and also strongly attacked the opposition. He also announced the withdrawal of around 4100 cases registered against the Tharu community during the SP government. After the programme, the Chief Minister left for Mohammadi.
During this, State Forest and Environment Minister Arun Saxena and District In-charge Minister Nitin Agarwal were also present, who described this historic initiative as a big achievement of the government and said that due to this thousands of families have got new life and respect.
