News Topical, Digital Desk : "Queen of Melody" Asha Bhosle is no more. The singer ruled the music industry for nearly eight decades and left everyone teary-eyed.

Following Asha Bhosle's passing, renowned music director Shamir Tandon revealed that Asha Tai had once confided in him about her feelings, saying she wanted to connect with herself.

Asha Bhosle used to relate herself to this song.

Speaking to ANI, Shamir Tandon said, "I have composed one of her last songs in Hindi, which was written by my dear friend Prasoon Joshi. The lyrics are 'Jaane do, jaane do, khud se milna hai, jaane do'. She related to it a lot. She used to say that now it's enough, now I have to go in a very good way. I have to go to meet myself."

Shamir Tandon considered Asha Bhosle as his sister

Shamir Tandon said that he considered Asha ji his 'Aai'. He said, "Asha Tai has always been like a mother to me. The world called her 'Tai', but I called her 'Aai'. 'Aai' means mother in Marathi. Whenever I went to her house, I would talk to her for hours. This loss is not just for India or our Indian film industry. It is a loss for the entire world, because she was so unique. She taught the whole world how important innovation is in music."
