News Topical, Digital Desk : Ranveer Singh's film "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" is currently ruling the box office. Doing phenomenal business in India, it has already become the fourth highest-grossing Indian film worldwide and is now eager to take over the third spot.
After its 22nd day earnings, this Aditya Dhar-directed film has set its sights on another major South Indian film. Which movie's record is "Dhurandhar" aiming to break? Let's read in detail below:
This is the total earnings of 'Dhurandhar 2' on the 22nd day
While "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" may have slowed slightly on its 21st day, it still poses a threat to several major films. The film, which grossed ₹1,653.67 crore on its 21st day, has now released its 22nd-day collection. According to reports from sacnilk.com, the film made a strong showing at the worldwide box office on Thursday:
- Thursday Collection (Day 22): The film has earned a whopping Rs 11.56 crore on a single day.
- Total Worldwide Collection: The total worldwide collection of this film has reached Rs 1,665.23 crore in 22 days.
- Overseas Collection: The movie has so far done a strong business of Rs 410 crore in the foreign market.
Will 'Pushpa 2' snatch the throne by earning Rs 77 crore?
Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun starrer "Dhurandhar 2" currently lags behind three major Indian films in terms of earnings. However, it needs just ₹77 crore more to break the worldwide record of Allu Arjun's blockbuster "Pushpa 2," which seems quite possible for the film. It's worth noting that "Pushpa 2" had a lifetime total worldwide collection of ₹1,742.10 crore.
"Dhurandhar 2" has the box office open until April 17th, as there are currently no major releases ahead of "Bhooth Bangla" that could rival Aditya Dhar's spy-thriller. Consequently, the film's worldwide earnings are expected to see another significant jump this coming weekend.
