News Topical, Digital Desk : Following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Uttar Pradesh, the final list has been released. Following the release of the SIR list, the number of voters in Bulandshahr has decreased to 2,368,222. Previously, the number of voters was 2,663,718.
In Bulandshahr, BLOs conducted door-to-door surveys to purify and verify the voter list. Following the SIR in the district's seven assembly constituencies, 52,025 voters were removed from the Khurja Assembly constituency list, while 29,322 voters were removed from the Syana Assembly constituency list. In the final list published after the SIR, 295,000 voters were removed from the Assembly voter list. The list now includes 2.3 million voters.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa on Friday (April 10) said that the final voter list published after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 has seen an increase of over 84 lakh voters in the state, taking the total voter count to 13.39 crore.
Addressing a press conference at the Lok Bhawan Media Centre here, Rinwa said the SIR programme was conducted from October 27, 2025, to April 10, 2026, covering all 75 districts, 403 assembly constituencies and polling stations across the state.
He said that the 166-day long programme was carried out with the contribution of 75 District Election Officers (DEOs), 403 Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), 12,758 Assistant EROs, 18,026 BLO supervisors and 1,77,516 Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
