News Topical, Digital Desk : Aam Aadmi Party has hit back at BJP over the frequent waterlogging in Delhi and people losing their lives due to rain. "AAP" Delhi State Convenor Saurabh Bhardwaj said that BJP government has become a disaster for the people of Delhi. It cannot hide its failure in preventing waterlogging by blaming others.

He said that the death of 6 people due to the roof collapse in the Dargah Sharif Patte Shah complex on Friday due to waterlogging in the rain is very sad. On Thursday also, a bike rider died due to the falling of a tree due to rain and two children died due to the collapse of a DDA wall. Despite all the claims of de-silting, Delhi is drowning and two dozen people have lost their lives so far.

'Government should work instead of talking'

Saurabh Bhardwaj further said that due to rain, trees are falling somewhere and poles are falling somewhere. Instead of talking big, the government will have to come down to the ground. The people of Delhi have elected BJP to work, it cannot escape from its responsibility by pointing fingers at others.

Saurabh Bhardwaj, who reached the spot after the roof collapsed at the Dargah Sharif Patte Shah complex in Nizamuddin area, said that this is the entire complex of Nizamuddin Dargah. There was an old structure named Dargah Sharif Patte Shah here, which was a very beautiful dargah. People just told me that it rained around 4:00 pm. This building collapsed due to water accumulation on or around the roof. Six people died inside it and many people are injured. The administration took the injured to the hospital. Some people are in AIIMS and perhaps one person is in RML Hospital.

'30 people have died so far in Delhi'

Saurabh Bhardwaj told that AAP councilor Sarika Chaudhary of this area had come here. She informed me about this. It is very sad that for the last three months, due to this rain in Delhi, trees, walls, roofs and electric poles are falling. So far, about 30 people have died in Delhi. So Aam Aadmi Party has only one thing to say to the administration that please improve your work a little.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said on the DM's statement regarding encroachment that the DM will sue others to avoid his responsibility. Otherwise if you ask the DM, he will say, "What are you asking me? First I will sue you", so that the public gets scared. These intimidating tactics have become old.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that this problem is everywhere that wherever there is an ASI monument, there is a law of Parliament, due to which even if people repair the structures around them, the ASI person comes to ask for money. So that person is not able to do the repair. This is not only here. People are not able to build their houses around all the old ASI monuments, be it Panchsheel. If a person lays a brick in Chirag Delhi, the ASI person comes. If someone does something in Shahpur Jat, the ASI person comes. There should be improvement in this as well.

'CM will have to come down to earth'

AAP Delhi President further said, "Aam Aadmi Party can only request the government. We are continuously saying that just talking will not do. Ministers and Chief Minister will have to come down to the ground. Nizamuddin Dargah is a famous place all over the world. Humayun's Tomb is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and this is Sundar Nursery Road. The entire route is filled with sewer water. It is not just a little water, it is filled with a lot of water. There is water up to the knees. This water has been filled for about 15 days, not just from today. It is a matter to think, this place is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Humayun's Tomb is famous all over the world. What would the people who come here think about Delhi?"

Before this, Saurabh Bhardwaj asked Chief Minister Rekha Gupta that on Thursday in Kalkaji area, a tree fell on the man and he died, did Arvind Kejriwal fell the tree? As soon as BJP came to power, did it increase the school fees by 50 to 80 percent? As soon as BJP came to power, power cuts started happening everywhere, is Arvind Kejriwal getting the power cuts done?

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that despite all the claims of de-silting by the BJP government, Delhi is completely flooded. So far, about two dozen people have died. Seven people are dying due to wall collapse. This year, more than two dozen people have died in Delhi due to rain-related disasters. Is Arvind Kejriwal doing that? Rekha Gupta's government will have to do some work. Without doing any work, just talking big is not going to benefit Rekha Gupta nor the people of Delhi.

'Government should stop running away from accountability'

Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "The four-engine BJP government has no interest in working. For every failure, they make the same old excuse and blame Arvind Kejriwal for everything. Just like the BJP central government blames Nehru ji for everything. The BJP government should stop running away from its responsibility because the people of Delhi have elected them to work, not to shirk responsibility by pointing fingers at the previous Aam Aadmi Party government and Arvind Kejriwal."

No cars in Delhi, now boats will run- Jarnail Singh

On the other hand, Tilak Nagar AAP MLA Jarnail Singh posted a video on Twitter on Friday while boating in the waterlogged area and said that those who were going to Rishikesh for rafting can cancel their program. Delhi's Rekha Gupta government has arranged for first class rafting in every street, locality and colony.

He said that Delhiites only have to buy a small boat, which costs a few thousand rupees. If you go to Rishikesh, money is also spent. Buy the boat permanently, because Rekha Gupta Government is not capable of stopping waterlogging. Waterlogging is bound to happen in Delhi every time it rains. In such a situation, you can enjoy this rafting in every street and locality.

The AAP leader said that Delhiites will have to bear the rusty four-engine government for another four and a half years. So bear with the government and also enjoy this rafting. By the way, the Rekha Gupta government has provided this facility in every street. So Delhiites can enjoy it around them as well. There is no tax either, rafting is completely tax free.

Jarnail Singh said on X that now boats will run instead of cars! Enjoy free 'river rafting' in Delhi. The four-engine government has completely failed to stop waterlogging in Delhi.
