News Topical, Digital Desk : Bigg Boss 18 contestant Kashish Kapoor has been accused of cheating a designer. She allegedly ruined a couture gown worth Rs 85,000. The designer alleges that when Kashish returned the gown, it was very wet and dirty due to which he could not sell it again.

The device was rendered unusable due to the damage. The designer also shared screenshots on social media as proof, claiming that he was not paid full compensation and Kashish had even blocked him.

Designer Smita Srinivas' brand has shared screenshots which show that when she demanded compensation or to buy back the gown, they asked her to pay less than half the price of the gown, i.e. Rs 40,000, to settle the matter. After weeks of making excuses, Kashish reportedly blocked her. The designer further claimed that when she contacted Kashish's agency again, they suggested that she said the compensation could be a promotion on social media.

The screenshots showed that Kashish refused to pay, saying that the gown was of no use to her anymore and she would never wear it again. The designer expressed her disappointment and said that she received neither an apology nor money and was fired from the job.

Smita urged fellow designers to record everything whenever they give something to someone, take a deposit, and not be influenced by the idea that exposure pays the bills.
