Shreya has always been vocal about music, speaking out against the burden placed on singers and lip syncing. Recently, Shreya opened up about taking a break.

Shreya Ghoshal is against lip-syncing

Shreya Ghoshal revealed in a recent interview that she is fed up with the pressure of lip-syncing on stage. She said that the day she has to do it, she will quit it. In a conversation with ABP, she said, " I am not comfortable with that thing (lip-syncing on stage). The day I have to do it, I will quit singing. " Shreya Ghoshal said that she will perform live on stage for audiences as long as her voice supports her.

Will Shreya Ghoshal take a break like Arijit?

Shreya Ghoshal praised Arijit Singh's decision to quit playback singing and said that she sometimes feels the same way. The singer said, “ I also sometimes feel like taking a break. He took this decision with great courage. He is a musician at heart.”

Shreya further said, "He doesn't think about why he is not making music or what he will get from it. He just does what makes him happy. Music is everything for him and that is why people love him so much." 

Shreya Ghoshal has been ruling the singing world for the past two decades. To date, she has never used lip-sync during live performances.
