Toxic gas produced in a septic tank in the Haiderganj neighborhood claimed one life and left another on the brink of death. Negligence and a lack of safety measures turned a minor cleaning task into a major disaster.
It is reported that the homeowner, Gaurav Soni, had called two laborers to clean his house's septic tank. One laborer entered the tank, but suddenly fell unconscious due to the poisonous gas inside. The other laborer panicked and ran away.
Gaurav went to save the laborer, lost his life
To save laborer Adarsh Rajbhar, landlord Gaurav Soni rushed to the tank himself, but he too fell unconscious after being exposed to the toxic gas. Upon receiving information about the incident, a fire brigade team arrived at the scene and rescued both of them. Both were admitted to Darshan Nagar Medical College. Gaurav died during treatment, while Adarsh Rajbhar's condition is reported to be critical. He has been referred to a medical college in Lucknow. Adarsh's family has taken him to Lucknow .
Septic tank deaths continue
According to doctors, the worker, Adarsh Rajbhar, remains in critical condition and has not yet regained consciousness. This incident once again raises serious questions about the negligence and disregard for safety standards during septic tank cleaning.
