News Topical, Digital Desk : In Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, BJP district in-charge Sanjeev Shringirishi launched a scathing attack on the opposition through a public outrage press conference. He labeled the Congress, SP, and TMC as anti-women for their opposition to the Women's Reservation Bill. Shringirishi dismissed Akhilesh Yadav's promise of 300 units of free electricity as empty talk, saying that he didn't remember the public while in power. Taking a jab at the Bengal elections, he claimed that "Didi is gone on May 5th. The Mamata government's departure is certain."
At a BJP press conference held in the Mahoba Municipal Council auditorium, political snipers were hurled at opposition parties. BJP district in-charge Sanjeev Shringirishi directly targeted Akhilesh Yadav and Mamata Banerjee. He said that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament to ensure the rights of half the country's population , parties like the Samajwadi Party, Congress, TMC, and DMK unitedly opposed it.
Told the opposition anti-women
Sanjeev Shringirishi alleged that these parties do not want women to sit in Parliament and play an equal role in the country's development. He said that today women are flying planes, achieving success at NASA, and serving the country in the military, but the opposition is obstructing their progress. He warned that just as Rajiv Gandhi's government fell due to its anti-women stance in the 1986 Shah Bano case, the same fate will befall the SP, Congress, and TMC this time.
Counterattack on 300 units
Countering Akhilesh Yadav's promises of smart meters and 300 units of free electricity, the district in-charge said that when his government was in power, Uttar Pradesh was in chaos, with power outages lasting most of the night. He quipped that someone who is not going to power can also promise gold coins. Sanjeev Shringirishi clarified that the public will no longer be swayed by the SP, and Akhilesh's political fortunes will soon be extinguished.
Told TMC a hooligan party
Attacking the TMC, he compared Bengal to the old hooliganism of Uttar Pradesh. He said that Mamata Banerjee has distressed the people by spreading appeasement and religious frenzy. Referring to the BJP's growing support base in Bengal, he raised the slogan, "May 5th is coming, and Didi is gone." He claimed that the people of Bengal will no longer tolerate external anarchists and the hooliganism of the TMC, and that women's power will crush the opposition's arrogance in the upcoming elections.
