Narada Jayanti will be celebrated on this day
The Pratipada Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Jyeshtha begins at 10:52 pm on May 1st and ends at 12:49 am on May 3rd. Therefore, keeping the Udaya Tithi in mind, Narada Jayanti will be celebrated on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. The auspicious times on this day will be as follows:
- Brahma Muhurta - from 4:14 am to 4:57 am
- Abhijit Muhurta - from 11:52 am to 12:45 pm
- Twilight time - from 6:56 pm to 7:17 pm
- Tripushkar Yoga - From 12:49 am on May 3 to 5:39 am on May 3
Worship method of Narada Jayanti
- Wake up early in the morning, take a bath, wear clean clothes and take a resolution to perform the puja in your mind.
- First of all, worship Lord Vishnu with proper rituals in the temple of your house.
- After worshipping Shri Hari, worship Devrishi Narada Muni.
- Offer sandalwood, kumkum and fresh flowers to Lord Vishnu.
- Offer Panchamrit, fresh fruits or halwa made from pure ghee to Lord Shri Hari.
- Be sure to add 'Tulsi Dal' (Basil leaves) in the offering to Lord Vishnu, because without Tulsi his offering is not complete.
- At the end of the puja, perform aarti of Lord Vishnu and Narada Muni with full devotion.

1. Basic Mantra – Om Vishnave Namah
2. Monosyllabic Mantra – Om Hoon Vishnave Namah

4. Dwadsakshar Mantra – Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya
