News Topical, Digital Desk : The terrorists arrested from Noida on Thursday had planned to attack RSS offices in Delhi and Lucknow using hand grenades. Sources say Pakistani gangsters Shahzad Bhatti and Abid Jat had given the arrested terrorists the target of attacking RSS offices with hand grenades. Maps of Delhi and Lucknow were also recovered from the terrorists.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Thursday arrested Tushar Chauhan, alias Hizbullah Ali Khan, and Sameer Khan from Noida on charges of involvement in terrorist activities. Both terrorists worked for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and gangster Shahzad Bhatti. Shahzad Bhatti had used them to threaten several influential people via conference calls.
According to ATS sources, Tushar was also tasked with conducting recce of RSS offices. Tushar stated that he comes from a Hindu family and had previously connected with Shahzad Bhatti through Instagram.
Shahzad Bhatti brainwashed him and made him inclined towards Islam. He subsequently converted to Islam. After meeting Sameer Khan, the two began working together. The ATS also recovered photographs of several government buildings from the terrorists' mobile phones.
Two more suspected terrorists arrested from Bijnor
Police have arrested two more suspected terrorists from Bijnor. They have been identified as Zulfiqar alias Raka and Arif Malik, both residents of Bijnor. They were motivated by Pakistani handlers to spread terror by setting fires.
The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested four terrorists, Saqib, Arbab, Lokesh, and Vikas Gehlawat, near Lucknow's Charbagh railway station on April 3. After questioning them, it was revealed that their Pakistani handlers had assigned them the goal of spreading terror by setting fires.
A video was also recovered from his mobile phone, in which Aqib, who lives in Dubai, was talking to four people on a group call while holding an AK-47 and a hand grenade.
After the video surfaced, Aqib called Zulfiqar on WhatsApp, asking him to be careful and delete all videos and photos. The ATS is also searching for other young men involved in their gang.
