The Russian Defense Ministry has said that a total of 45 Ukrainian drones were destroyed on Wednesday. Of these, 11 were destroyed in the skies of Moscow and 23 in the border Bryansk region. While six drones were destroyed in Belgorod, three in Kaluga and two in Kursk region. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has said that some drones were destroyed over the Podolsk suburb. This suburb is just 38 kilometers away from the office and residence of the Russian President.

During this time, there was limited movement of aircraft from all three airports of Moscow for four hours. While Ukraine has claimed to have destroyed the S-300 air defense system in Russia's Rostov region in the latest attack.

Ukraine has claimed to have blown up three bridges there to break Russia's supply line. The attack by the Ukrainian army in Kursk is the first and the biggest attack on Russia since World War II.
