News Topical, Digital Desk : US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he does not want to compromise on funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) unless Democrats support the Save America Act.
"I don't think we should make any deals with those 'crazy, country-destroying, radical left-wing Democrats' unless they vote with Republicans to pass the 'SAVE AMERICA ACT,'" Trump posted on Truth Social.
'I don't accept this deal'
In the same post, he further wrote, "This is more important than anything else we're doing in the Senate, and it includes giving these same 'terrible people' (i.e., the Democrats who are responsible for this whole mess!) a $5 billion cut in ICE funding. This is a deal that, no matter how it's presented, is simply unacceptable to me or the American people."
Identify those who voted against America.
"Let's put it all together, and at the same time, Leader Thune should clearly identify those few 'Republicans' who are voting against America. They will never be re-elected! In other words, let's put it all together!!! Eliminate the filibuster, and stay in DC even through Easter if necessary," Trump said.
