News Topical, Digital Desk : Last year, Deepika Padukone made a statement about her comeback after motherhood, which is still being discussed. She stated that she would now only work eight hours a day because she also had to take care of her daughter when she returned home.

Many celebs have given their opinion

She faced a lot of criticism for this statement. While some people supported her, others criticized the actress. Several actors, including Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Kunal Kemmu, and Vikrant Massey, have already expressed their opinions on the matter, and Mohit Suri is the latest addition to the list.

The issue gained further momentum after Deepika Padukone dropped out of Prabhas's Spirit and Kalki 2898 AD. Mohit Suri has now shared his opinion on the matter, stating that Imran Khan once shot for this movie for 24 hours straight.

Mohit Suri gave the example of Imran

In an interview with Variety India, Ranveer addressed the debate about Deepika Padukone's eight-hour workday. He said that he has worked with actors who have worked 24 hours a day.

Mohit Suri spoke about the crew members

We're making it an ego issue. Why should anyone have the right to decide shifts? It's our job to ensure quality. I mean, if a unit is working a 12-hour shift, they're actually working 14 because they're loading and unloading supplies. They only get paid for those 12 hours. I mean, it could be 15. Then they go home.

The director stressed that working hours should be fixed not just for the actors but for the entire crew.
