Congress MP Ujjwal Raman Singh described the move as a move that would benefit the BJP and said it was crucial to defeat communal forces in the country.

Ujjwal Raman Singh, MP from Allahabad constituency in Uttar Pradesh, said on Owaisi's party's alliance with Humayun Kabir's Aam Janata Unnayan Party in West Bengal, "Anyone can contest elections in alliance with anyone, anyone can contest anywhere, but if someone is contesting to benefit the Bharatiya Janata Party, then people are watching in Bengal as well as in other parts as to who is benefiting whom?

Question on alliance between Humayun Kabir and Owaisi

The Congress MP said that today the need is to defeat and uproot communal and fascist forces, and that is where we are fighting. Owaisi and Kabir are going to contest the elections together in West Bengal, which will benefit the BJP.

BJP calls Owaisi part of India alliance

Meanwhile, BJP Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma has also commented on Owaisi's party's alliance with Humayun Kabir. He said that Mamata Banerjee is going to lose the elections in West Bengal and be ousted from power. The public is going to oust her.

Humayun Kabir and Owaisi are part of the India Alliance and have attempted to defeat the BJP several times, but have faced defeat each time. This time too, their plans will not succeed.

It's worth noting that Humayun Kabir made headlines when he declared the Babri Masjid in Murshidabad, West Bengal, a move that led Mamata Banerjee to expel him from her party. Humayun Kabir has since formed the Aam Janata Unnayan Party and will contest the elections in alliance with Owaisi's AIMIM. A press conference regarding the alliance will be held in Kolkata on March 25th.
