News Topical, Digital Desk : A special passport court is being held at the Regional Passport Office in Ghaziabad , Uttar Pradesh , to expedite the disposal of pending cases. This decision is a significant relief for applicants whose passports are facing processing delays due to various reasons.

To this end, a Lok Adalat is being organized at the passport office itself. From 3 pm to 5 pm, passport officers and staff will resolve applicants' problems. Efforts will be made to resolve as many cases as possible on the spot. It should be noted that this court is being organized on the instructions of the Ministry of External Affairs.

Only 50 applications will be considered.

Only 50 complaints will be resolved in this special Lok Adalat. Those who arrive early and book a seat will have their complaints heard first. Applicants are required to bring their original documents and photocopies with them. This court will prove to be a boon for those whose cases have been pending for a long time.

According to officials at the Regional Passport Office, all complaints received will be resolved on the spot. The department has also made preparations to ensure applicants don't face any further difficulties. Applicants who are eligible for limited seats are likely to benefit today.

Applicants will only be processed from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM today. Therefore, a limited number of people who arrived and registered on time will benefit the most. Furthermore, special arrangements have been made for applicants at the regional office.

It should be noted that complaints have been consistently received that applicants are not being heard at the passport office. A special Lok Adalat is now being established to address such cases. If this scheme proves successful, it may be expanded in the future.
