Actor Akshay Kumar also posted a memory of Chuck Norris. He wrote, "Growing up as a martial artist, watching Chuck Norris in films like 'Way of the Dragon,' 'Missing in Action,' and many more, wasn't just entertainment... it was education. His discipline, strength, and control on screen will stay with me forever. Grateful for the inspiration that shaped a part of who I am."

He created his own Korean-American style of karate. He also founded the United Fighting Arts Federation, which has awarded more than 3,300 Chuck Norris System black belts worldwide.

He also starred in the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger, which ran for nine seasons. He has been awarded the title of World Professional Middleweight Karate Champion six times.
