After a long wait, Bhoot Bangla was released in theaters and the film performed well at the domestic box office. The film grossed ₹12.25 crore on its opening day. Including paid previews, the film's opening collection has reached ₹15.75 crore.

Along with the domestic box office, Bhooth Bangla's worldwide collections were also impressive. According to early trade reports from SacNilk, the Akshay Kumar horror-comedy has grossed ₹23.90 crore worldwide. The film's gross collection in India was ₹18.90 crore, while overseas collections on its opening day were ₹5 crore.

The release of Bhoot Bangla has impacted the earnings of Ranveer Singh's film Dhurandhar 2. The film earned a net collection of just ₹2.70 crore at the domestic box office last Friday. This translates to a net collection of ₹1,105.82 crore in one month, bringing the film's total gross to ₹1,741.73 crore.
