News Topical, Digital Desk : KC Tyagi, a close confidante of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and a former Rajya Sabha member from the Janata Dal (United), joined the party in the presence of Union Minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) National President Jayant Chaudhary. Along with Tyagi's supporters, his son, Amrish Tyagi, also joined the party. Following Amrish's joining, discussions have begun in Ghaziabad political circles: Given the alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) in Uttar Pradesh, will Amrish contest the 2027 assembly elections from Ghaziabad?

In the context of these questions and discussions, Amrish Tyagi stated that he would strive to fulfill any responsibility the Rashtriya Lok Dal or Jayant Chaudhary entrusted to him. In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Amrish Tyagi was neither saying yes nor no to contesting the 2027 assembly elections. In politics, many things are not said directly, but their meaning is understood. Experts believe that if the alliance remains intact in 2027, the Rashtriya Lok Dal could stake its claim on two of Ghaziabad's five assembly seats: Loni and Muradnagar.

Does this claim of KC Tyagi prove correct in 2027 or not?

The Muradnagar Assembly constituency has been consistently held by leaders from the Tyagi community. Currently, Ajit Pal Tyagi of the Bharatiya Janata Party is the MLA from here. However, Amrish adds that the Rashtriya Lok Dal may contest elections in several seats in western Uttar Pradesh alongside the Bharatiya Janata Party. There is now a growing buzz in Ghaziabad and western Uttar Pradesh that KC Tyagi has joined the Rashtriya Lok Dal to further the political career of his son, Amrish Tyagi. It remains to be seen whether KC Tyagi's claim will be successful in 2027.

Let us tell you that after receiving his primary education from Dehradun, Amrish Tyagi graduated from Delhi University and then obtained a PhD degree from Bengaluru. Amrish Tyagi came into limelight when he joined Prashant Kishore's team. During that time, there was no possibility that JDU would form the government in Bihar, but despite that, due to Prashant Kishore's strategy, JDU succeeded in forming the government in Bihar and Amrish's name also came in it.

Amrish subsequently joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and worked in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. KC Tyagi is known as the Chanakya of western Uttar Pradesh politics, a nickname his supporters refer to him by. KC Tyagi has had a long political career.
