News Topical, Digital Desk : There is a little disappointing news for the audience waiting for Special Ops Season 2. The second season of KK Menon's much awaited series Special Ops was to premiere on July 11 this month. However, now due to some reasons, its release date has been postponed. The series will now be given a new release date.
Directed by Shivam Nair, this new chapter of the popular spy thriller sees Kay Kay Menon returning as RAW officer Himmat Singh, who will lead his team into a more complex battle. As per the new release date, the second season will now release on July 18.
KK Menon himself shared the video
KK Menon also shared a video on his Instagram account and informed about this. The actor said that due to some circumstances that were beyond his control, this decision was taken. He also promised that all the episodes of the season will be released together.
What is the story of Special Ops 2?
The story of Special Ops 2 Cyber explores the growing threat of terrorism and digital warfare. Set against a Zia political background, the show reflects real-world concerns about national security in an era where cyber breaches can destabilize entire nations. As the series progresses, Himmat and his team get involved in a major mission to neutralize a silent enemy deeply embedded in the digital eco system.

Created by Neeraj Pandey and produced by Friday Storytellers, Special Ops started in 2020. The upcoming season also features actors like Prakash Raj, Vinay Pathak, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Karan Tacker, Saiyami Kher, Muzammil Ibrahim, Gautami Kapoor, Parmeet Sethi and Kali Prasad Mukherjee. Special Ops Season 2 will be available for streaming on JioCinema from July 18. All its episodes will be released simultaneously so you don't have to wait much longer.
