Padmini Kolhapure is currently busy shooting for her historical TV show 'Chakravarti Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan'. In this TV show, she is going to play the role of Rajmata once again. While promoting her TV show, Padmini refreshed some fond memories of the 80s and also told which superstar she never got the chance to work with.

While talking exclusively to Times of India, the actress said that she did not get a chance to work with Amitabh Bachchan and she will always regret this.

According to reports, Padmini Kolhapure was supposed to work with Amitabh Bachchan in Yash Chopra's love triangle 'Silsila', later she was replaced by Smita Patil and then Parveen Babi. However, in the end, all three actresses were dropped and Jaya Bachchan was cast in the film opposite Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan.

Talking about the film Silsila, it was released in theatres in 1981. When Yash Chopra's film was released, it did not do anything special. However, now this film is one of the most memorable films of Hindi cinema.
