Will there be a crossover between Animal and Kabir Singh?

Shahid Kapoor was asked about fan speculation about a Kabir Singh crossover with Animal Park. The actor explained that the idea was actually considered briefly when Sandeep Reddy Vanga was making Animal.

He said, "When Animal was being made, Sandeep actually came to meet me. He wanted a scene with Kabir in it, but that didn't happen. So, he had that idea in mind. But it didn't happen. There were date issues, some other issues. But yes, he did say he wanted a scene. Then it didn't happen."

Shahid further stated that both Kabir Singh and Animal are Sandeep Reddy Vanga's characters, so any future crossover will depend entirely on the director's vision. He said, “Those two characters are his, that world is his. So, whatever he feels like doing with them, he will do.”

Shahid Kapoor's work front

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2019 film Kabir Singh starred Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani. Although the film was a major commercial success, it was criticized by many for allegedly promoting misogyny and toxic masculinity. Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 2023 film Animal starred Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Tripti Dimri. The film performed very well commercially.
