She alleged that India betrayed her, leading to online trolling. Mandana has now shared a video explaining why she wants to leave India. The actress clarified that she cannot return to Iran because she has been banned there.
I'm banned in Iran
The actress said, “I was banned from entering Iran 10 years ago. I can't go back to Iran. Yes, I'm leaving India; I'm leaving India, but I'm not going back to Iran. I'm angry with India because I didn't get any support in India for the last few months, and suddenly, when Khamenei died, when Israel and America's names came up, everyone in India has an opinion. Everyone has come out on the streets, and they could actually mourn Khamenei, which I couldn't, and I still can't.”
Even friends do not know the location
She further said, "I am stuck in one place and due to security reasons even my close friends do not know my location, yet I am trying to talk to the media to raise the voice of Iranians. I have not worked in films for the last six years. It was my own decision to stop working in films."
Mandana is supporting Iran
Mandana stated that even though she left Iran at the age of 18, she remains committed to her country and will continue to express her views. The actress added that she is giving the interview not for herself but for her country, Iran, because she wants to speak out. Mandana has been posting videos about Iran on Instagram for quite some time and urging people to support Iran.
