In an interview with Mashable India, Arjun Kapoor told that when Parineeti came on the set for the first time, she cracked a joke. Instead of laughing, Parineeti replied in GenZ language and said LOL. To this Arjun Kapoor said, 'Can't you laugh?' This is not a chat. The actor said that I found her very irritating.

Arjun told that she used to talk in emojis, so Arjun felt that Parineeti is not serious about her role at all. Arjun said, ‘I was waiting for 6 months to meet Zoya and Zoya came and was saying LOL LOL. I thought my career is over. The girl is not at all interested.’
