Masik Shivratri has special significance in Sanatan Dharma. This festival is celebrated every month on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha. On this day, Lord of Gods Mahadev and Mother Parvati are worshipped. Also, a fast is observed to get the desired boon. By observing this fast, the happiness and good fortune of the devotee increases. 

Monthly Shivratri auspicious time (Masik Shivratri Shubh Muhurat)

According to the Vedic calendar, the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of Vaishakh month will start on 26 April at 08:27 am and will end on the next day i.e. 27 April at 04:49 am. Udaya Tithi is considered in Sanatan Dharma. For this, monthly Shivaratri will be celebrated on 26 April.

 

Monthly Shivratri Shubh Yog

There is a coincidence of Abhijeet Muhurta on Masik Shivratri. Abhijeet Muhurta is from 11:53 am to 12:45 pm. Along with this, Bhadravas Yoga is being formed till 08:27 am. By worshipping Lord Shiva in this Yoga, all the wishes of the devotee will be fulfilled.

Puja Vidhi

On the day of Masik Shivratri , wake up in Brahma hour. At this time, bow to Mahadev. After this, clean the house. After retiring from daily chores, take a bath with water containing Gangajal. After this, offer water to Sun God. After this, do Panchopchar and worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati with devotion. At this time, offer fruits, flowers, sweets, etc. to Lord Shiva. Recite Shiv Chalisa and chant Shiv Mantras during the worship. At the end of the worship, do Shiv Aarti and pray for increased happiness and prosperity.
