Fog will prevail in Delhi-NCR
Light to moderate fog is expected in Delhi-NCR this morning. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 26-28 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 9-12 degrees Celsius. Temperatures in Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh have dropped below freezing, further intensifying the cold.
Cold wave conditions may develop in some parts of Punjab and Rajasthan. Temperatures are also dropping in the Gangetic plains, such as West Bengal, Bihar, and Odisha.
Heavy rain alert in South India
Heavy to very heavy rainfall and strong winds (up to 100 km/h) are expected along the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Andhra Pradesh due to Cyclone Senyar. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for these areas for the next three days starting on the 28th.
Light rain is forecast in some districts of Rajasthan. Most parts of Rajasthan will experience mainly clear and sunny weather during the day. However, some districts, such as Jalore, Sirohi, Pali, Udaipur, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, and Ajmer, are expected to experience cloudy skies and isolated light rain or drizzle today. Nighttime temperatures will increase, with minimum temperatures expected to hover around 8-10 °C .

Minimum temperature in Himachal reaches 0 °C
The weather in Himachal Pradesh will be generally clear and sunny. It will be colder in the hilly areas, with minimum temperatures likely to drop to or below 0 °C . In cities like Shimla, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 13 °C .
