Even after the dismissal of the petition in the High Court in the matter of his comment on the army, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi did not reach the ACJM court. The petitioner requested to issue a warrant against Rahul Gandhi and ensure his presence.
Rahul Gandhi is accused of making derogatory remarks against the army during the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jaipur.
In this regard, an application was filed against Rahul Gandhi in Lucknow Court by Uday Shankar Srivastava, regarding which a petition was filed by Rahul Gandhi in the High Court, which was rejected by the High Court, after which Rahul Gandhi had to appear in the court today.
When Rahul Gandhi did not appear in the Lucknow Court, an application was submitted before the court with a request in which it was said to issue a warrant against Rahul Gandhi to ensure his presence.
After this, the court has given Rahul Gandhi the fifth chance and ordered him to appear as an accused on 23 June 2025, in which the next hearing of the case will be held on 23 June.
