News Topical, Digital Desk : French President Emmanuel Macron said on Tuesday that if US President Donald Trump really wants the Nobel Peace Prize, he must stop the war in Gaza.
Speaking to France's BFM TV from New York, Macron said only Trump has the power to pressure Israel to end the war.
Macron said that only the US President can do something about this. He can do more than us, because we do not provide weapons that could be used to wage war in Gaza. America does that.
Trump delivered a fiery and wide-ranging speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday, rejecting efforts by Western allies to support a Palestinian state, saying it would be a reward for Hamas militants. "We must stop the war in Gaza immediately. We must start peace talks immediately," Trump said.
