Today, Drishyam 3 begins with a puja." Drishyam was released in 2013. The film was so well-received that it was subsequently remade in several languages.

This film, titled Drishyam in Hindi, stars Ajay Devgn as Mohanlal's character. It is being developed as a franchise in Hindi as well.
