Alia Bhatt will not stop, after Darlings, now she is bringing another big film for the OTT platform.

News Topical, Digital Desk : Alia Bhatt has established herself among the A-list actresses in a very short time. While she dominated the big screen with films like Gangubai Kathiawadi, Student of the Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, and Raazi, she also solidified her presence on OTT platforms with "Darlings."

Alia Bhatt is once again turning to the OTT platform after Darlings, which released in 2022. Following Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film, she is working on another major film that will release on an OTT platform. 

Alia to work with Rock On 2 director

Actress Shraddha Kapoor starred opposite Farhan Akhtar in the 2016 film Rock On 2. However, actress Alia Bhatt was approached before Shraddha for the film, directed by Shujaat Saudagar. Alia was unable to participate in Rock On 2 due to her filming in Udta Punjab at the time.

However, Shujaat and Alia are now set to work together. Alia also ventured into film production with her 2022 film "Darlings." She subsequently produced another film, "Zigra," under her production house, Eternal Sunshine Productions. Now, reports suggest that she will be producing her next film with Shujaat. According to a Mumbai Jagran correspondent, the film is being made for a digital platform.

Alia has these big projects in 2025 

The report further stated that  Alia  and Shujaat plan to cast some newcomers in the film. Pre-production is underway, and shooting is expected to begin soon. 

While Alia Bhatt is focusing entirely on film production, she also has two major projects lined up as an actor. She has entered Yash Raj Films' spy universe with "Alpha," while she is also busy shooting "Love and War," which will see her paired with Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor. The film is scheduled for release in March 2026.
