News Topical, Digital Desk : A tragic incident following a road accident in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday shocked everyone. At around 11:00 pm, an Alto car was passing through the Phulpur police station area of ​​Varanasi. A woman sitting on the side of the road was struck by the car. The woman, who suffered a leg injury, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. However, local residents became so enraged that they severely beat the driver. The driver was then taken to BHU Hospital, where he died during treatment. 

Police have sent the body for post-mortem examination and launched an investigation and filed a case against seven people. Police officials claim that all the accused will be arrested soon.

Anger vented on car rider after road accident

Manish Kumar Singh was driving his car on a road under the Phulpur police station in Varanasi at around 11:00 pm on Sunday. A woman sitting on the side of the road was struck by his car. The injured woman was rushed for treatment. However, locals present at the scene became enraged and beat Manish Singh severely.

After being beaten and bleeding to death, Manish was rushed to BHU Hospital, where he died within a few hours of treatment. Following this, a heavy police presence was deployed outside the residence of the deceased Manish Kumar Singh, especially given the anger among his family and supporters.
