News Topical, Digital Desk : Several countries have condemned the drone attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin's residence. Following this attack, Russia has issued an ultimatum to Ukraine. Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has targeted India, the UAE, and other countries. Zelensky says that countries that condemned the attack on the Russian President's house have turned a blind eye to Russia's attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Zelensky's big statement
Speaking to the media, Zelensky said, “It is confusing and strange that many countries, including India and the UAE, condemned our alleged drone attack on Putin's residence, but nothing like that happened.”
What is the whole matter?
On December 29, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that Ukraine had attempted to attack the Russian presidential residence with 91 drones, which were also destroyed in mid-air. However, Ukraine rejected Russia's claims, saying Russia was making false accusations to disrupt peace talks.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the UAE Foreign Ministry condemned the attack. PM Modi appealed to both sides to maintain peace and refrain from taking any steps that could hinder the peace talks.
