Approached for 12th Fail, lost the film due to her own mistake; Naila Grrewal said- 'I cursed myself a lot...'

Naila Grewal, who rose to fame with " Mamaala Legal Hai, " has appeared in several films. She also shared the screen with Ranbir Kapoor in Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha. 

Experience of working with Ranbir

Recently, Naila Grewal spoke with Mid-Day about what it was like to work with Ranbir Kapoor. She said that she felt like a star because of Ranbir. According to the actress: 

Ranbir Kapoor was and still is my favorite. Seeing him live in front of me was a very star-studded feeling, and the fact that I could actually talk to him was a completely surreal experience. When he acts, his eyes reflect a different level of honesty. The depth in his eyes is still fresh in my memory. I think that's something I truly learned from him.

12th fail movie went out of hand

Few people may know that Naila Grewal was approached to play the role of Vikrant Massey's co-star in 12th Fail, replacing Medha Shankar . The actress says that her refusal to respond to the casting call proved costly.

It was such a good film. So, I cursed myself for not responding to the casting inquiry. I was doing something else at the time, and I don't know why, but the opportunity just slipped away. But the thing is, I'm a big believer in luck now. The casting was perfect.

Naila Grewal has appeared in films like Ishq Vishk Rebound, Thappad, and Bareilly Ki Barfi. Currently, the actress is seen in Maalaa Legal Hai 2, which is streaming on Netflix.
