They also shared a photo of the mother and newborn, with Sonam cradling the baby to her chest; they described the experience as "truly extraordinary in every way."

Sonam Kapoor confirmed her pregnancy in November 2025 when she showed off her baby bump in a stunning pink co-ord set. The actress married Anand Ahuja in March 2018. The couple welcomed their first son, Vayu, in 2022.
