Veteran actress Tanuja praised him.

A video of 82-year-old Tanuja's review of "Dhurandhar: The Revenge" was shared by her younger daughter, Tanisha Mukherjee, on her official X account. In the video, Tanisha asks her mother how she liked "Dhurandhar 2," to which Tanuja immediately replies, "It's an amazing and outstanding film."

Tanishaa again questioned her mother, asking who she thinks is the real hero of "Dhurandhar 2"—Ranveer Singh or Aditya Dhar. The veteran actress quickly replied, “110 percent the real hero of the film is the director.”
